Palouse Washington District 9 Champions

Congratulations to District 9 Champions, Palouse, Washington. GarPal Colton juniors, Jeff Kent, pole vault, and Emma Akin, triple jump.  Addy Hamilton placed 2^nd in the pole vault.  

Pat Green Kent reported the three athletes head to State next week, and also said, "Great job Derrick Bosch, who PR’d by 9 feet in the Jav!"

The above athletes and the rest of the VikCat team will be competing today in Walla Walla at the final day of the District 9 Championships.  Thursday was the short day, so a much larger competition is on tap today. More events lie ahead, with the top two in each event advancing to state, Kent said.
