"Mother Squirrel" : A Different Mother's Day Story

I've admired Wayne Scheer's writing for many years, partly because he's one of the most prolific writers I've met, and partly because of the wide variety of prose and poetry he publishes. He has been nominated for four Pushcart Prizes and a Best of the Net.

This month, Wayne's poem, Mother Squirrel, is at Long Story Short.

You can read it at the Long Story All Poetry  page, which features The Angel by Chrys Fey, and many others. You need to continue scrolling down until you come to Mother Squirrel by Wayne Scheer.
